Founder / Photographer
Yi Shao is a photographer specializing in children’s portrait photography and natural landscape imagery, and a co-founder of Yijing Space. Her work is devoted to capturing moments that feel genuine, pure, and full of life. With a gentle and observant perspective, she focuses on the relationship between people and their surroundings, especially the natural emotions and growth of children. She believes that meaningful children’s photography is not about creating artificial cuteness, but about preserving fleeting moments that can never truly be recreated. Guided by patience, observation, and emotional connection, she hopes to create images that families can return to and cherish for years to come.
Founder / Photographer
Jingwen Sun is a co-founder of Yijing Space, as well as a Chinese-born dance artist, dance educator, and dance photography artist. Professionally trained from an early age, she possesses a strong technical foundation and extensive stage experience. Years of experience as a performer have given her a deep sensitivity to physical lines, movement rhythm, stage emotion, and visual storytelling through the lens, gradually shaping her distinctive aesthetic approach to dance photography. Unlike traditional portrait photography, Jingwen approaches dance imagery with an understanding of the strength, breath, and emotional expression behind movement itself. She specializes in capturing moments of tension, fluidity, and emotional intensity, using light, composition, and spatial relationships to preserve the movement and vitality of dance within still imagery.
